Artald Peran is a Senior Corporate Security and Risk Management Leader with more than eight years of international experience designing, leading and optimising large-scale protective operations for both public institutions and global corporations. His expertise lies in the strategic integration of physical security, business continuity, risk governance and vendor performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational resilience and organisational trust.

Throughout his career, Artald has managed multi-country security portfolios exceeding €15M, directed high-impact operations across Southern Europe and North Africa, and supervised teams of more than 300 professionals. He has protected complex environments and mission-critical assets for multinational organisations such as Amazon, European Union agencies, public administrations, major logistics providers and global enterprise clients.

Academically, Artald holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Security (University of Barcelona), a Postgraduate Degree in Corporate Finance (UPF Barcelona School of Management), and advanced training in Cybersecurity and Complex Project Management. He speaks English, Spanish and Catalan fluently.

He is currently Business Development Manager at Prosegur Security Iberia, where he leads commercial strategy, portfolio expansion, public tender participation and the deployment of high-value security solutions across enterprise and governmental sectors. He also serves as President of the Alumni Council of the Institut de Seguretat Pública de Catalunya (ISPC), promoting institutional collaboration, talent development and strategic partnerships across the security ecosystem.

Artald leads business development for Spain and Portugal within Prosegur’s Security Division—Spain’s market leader in integrated security services. He manages a portfolio valued at more than €15M, drives new business growth (over €7.8Mgenerated in 2023–2024), strengthens operational performance through KPI-based governance, and leads high-impact bids for enterprise clients and public institutions.
Responsibilities include market intelligence, negotiation, service deployment, risk oversight, multi-department coordination and optimisation of contract profitability.


Institut de Seguretat Pública de Catalunya (ISPC)

President, Alumni Council (2025–Present)
As President, Artald oversees the governance body that connects academia, private sector, public administration and future talent. He leads institutional strategy, visibility initiatives and knowledge-transfer programs, and has coordinated the Career & Job Placement Days, engaging organisations such as Amazon, Deloitte, Aigües de Barcelona, Hospital Clínic, CBRE and the Government of Catalonia.

Led Amazon’s Corporate Security Program across 14 offices in Spain, Italy, Portugal and Morocco. Managed regional security managers, guarding teams, auditing processes, incident investigations, workplace risk assessments and cross-functional coordination with Legal, HR and Business Units.

Full operational and commercial responsibility for a €12M portfolio across Catalonia, Aragon and Valencia.
